About Unite4Kids Foundation

Unite4Kids Foundation is a South Australian charitable foundation supporting children and young adults (0-25 years) facing serious illness, disability and hardship. Founded in 2015 following Holly Mead’s childhood cancer diagnosis, Unite4Kids has raised over $2.5 million for established programs delivered by charities, hospitals, and specialist organizations including Childhood Cancer Association, Starlight Children’s Foundation, and Clown Doctors Australia.

Governed by an Advisory Board with an extraordinary ecosystem of expertise — including parents with lived experience, South Australia’s Chief Cancer Officer, established business leaders, communications experts, and not-for-profit specialists — Unite4Kids combines compassionate understanding with strategic rigor. This unique Board composition enables Unite4Kids to identify gaps in service provision and work collaboratively with expert partners to design programs that fill those voids.

Operating with minimal overhead funded philanthropically, virtually all donated funds reach frontline programs. As Unite4Kids grows, so does its capacity to create impact — demonstrating that community needs require community responses, with every contribution creating ripple effects that strengthen over time. Unite4Kids became a registered charity in 2025.
